Whatever the case the likeness is amazing. This is a composite bodied gun with a.
055 (1.4mm) nozzle set up and a Devilbiss TGS 8oz. It's very light weight. It's set up currently for compressed air like the Accuspray 12s. Its rated for up to 100 psi air and fluid pressure but for HVLP compliance the air pressure should not exceed 65 psi so as to not exceed 10 psi at the aircap.
I found in testing it that at 35 to 40 psi it sprays amazingly. Virtually no bounce back and overspray while spraying odorless paint thinner. The gun can be used in pressure assisted siphon mode or with a pressure pot. If you use a pressure pot you need to remove the pressure assist tubing and stem and insert the plug into the air release hole. Additionally I tested this gun using an HVLP turbine instead of a compressor. I made an adapter that fits the air inlet and allows you to connect it to turbine hose fittings.
Now I tested it with a 3 stage turbine cause thats the biggest I have right now. It sprayed really well but I could tell it wanted more cfm and air pressure at the cap. So I'm convinced that if you use a 4 stage or even preferably a 5 or 6 stage turbine you will get amazing results. The fluid and air pattern controls remind me of the responsiveness of the Accuspray guns. So does the soft spray atomization. The turbine adapter fitting will be included as in the pictures. Just remove the compressed air quick connect fitting and attach the turbine hose fitting. They both are 1/4 inch npt fittings. So primarily compressed air is the intention but with a powerful enough turbine (5 or 6 stage) with close to 10 psi at the aircap it will spray very nicely. The parts listing and part diagram for the gun will be included too.
